Member Application Form

To support race equality and fair and equal outcomes for Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) people living, working and studying in South Gloucestershire.

Through the provision of:

• Providing a voice for BAME people in South Gloucestershire.
• Empowering BAME people and be an enabler for better outcomes.
• Holding public/private agencies and services to account and to influence policy and local decision making.
• Providing information and strengthening communities for the benefit of people and communities in South Gloucestershire.
• Raising awareness of race related issues in South Gloucestershire.
• Aiding community cohesion.

Members support the aims of SGREN and are entitled to vote at the AGM and stand to be a committee member.

Our two types of membership are:

Core Committee Members

• Free Membership
• Attend at least one Committee meeting per year
• Entitled to vote at the AGM and stand to be a committee member for the following year
• Added to the mailing list
• Can volunteer or Partner for events

Non-Committee Members

• Free Membership
• Added to the mailing list
• Can volunteer or Partner for events
• Have no formal obligation to SGREN
